Dun if it works for you as my phone already ROOT and App2SD by Sam Lu  will do the job manually

but no harm trying.

PS: adb is found in your HTC sync program

How To: Force Move To SD On Froyo Without Rooting

One move2sdof major issues with android phones (except the new HTC Desires) is that they are low on internal phone memory, like my HTC Desire comes with around 100 MB free internal storage out of which only 15MB is free right now.  With loads of new app coming everyday there must be a way to install install Apps to SD card. With Froyo implementation of Move to SD you cannot move all apps to SD card, in order to move an app to SD card app developer must specify it explicitly during development and most of apps still lack that option.
In order to force Move to SD Card your phone must be running Froyo and ADB drivers must be installed on your system.

Instructions

1. Ensure you have debugging enabled on your phone (Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging > Turn On)
2. Connect your phone to USB
3. Open Command Prompt/Terminal
4. Type: adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2
5. Press Enter and That’s it!

Let keep my finger crossed

I was trying to upgrade my ROM to 2.3.4

Then I received good news that I got an Interview

While trying, I go back to HOT HD9
and download
HD9 Android 2.2 V6.1MOD by BM.7z (70,925 KB)

The HD9 went die

I quickly change USB port and tried original ROM
but again I noticed the original ROM has too big of system.img file that it keep failed

I have went through many times from heaven to hell and back heaven

When I finally get back HD9_2.2.1
I was again relieved

Well at least I was not going to be forced to buy THL  V9 next week ...

Now I have to try out the different ROM in a slower pace ...

After I use CWM v4.0.0.5 and restore back to my original ROM dated this monday

Each time, like a ritual, I will take out the battery and put back again

Then I switch on the handphone

After few exercise , I still struck with my original ROM

But my wish is to start with a simple ROM with tethering hotspot

but version 2.2 show it has

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_version_history

v2.2

On 20 May 2010, the Android 2.2 (Froyo) SDK was released, based on Linux kernel 2.6.32.[27][28] Its features included:[27]

But anyway, let check out for other options

Now the mobile is back working ... that is the relieve !

HD9 2.3.4 ROM

This morning I tried to change to HD 2.3.4 ROM

Few things bother me
there is no secro img ?

Is there a CH2.3.4.zip file and can it be done via zip file ?

Half way the data connection loss
(I was doing something at the same time ...)

I tried to flash 2.2.1 ROM but USB connection lost

So I press vol up for recovery mode
(luckily I did not change the recovery img )

Blessing by disguise
I do a recovery and it prove work
This is what YS wanted too
It is just like a Norton ghost on PC
everything is restored back to normal
with even the IMEI installed

I will try again after lunch time

Finally again I have successfully flash_tool recovery to my Chang Jiang HD9 !!

If following through the thread, although very messy

I was not able to use the flash_tool to flash the HD9

I keep question about the process of the 3 interfaces

Adroid ADB interface
Adroid bootloader interface
Adroid Composite ADB interface

I even post the query on

I tried to down other windows versions too (even for win98 version) from mobile uncle
and I even thinking to use the old windows XP computer at home too

Then I reload the interfaces again

I turn off the HD9 and load a new driver
I purposely choose the Adroid bootloader interface
I load win XP driver (but I not sure ... )

Then suddenly the flash tool works !
(It was a shock as I have flash tool multiple times before that
almost two cycles of switch on and off the HD9
as I also read that the Hd9 battery must be take on and put back)

I was lucky to load the CWM recovery 4.0.0.8 too

So immediately I go to backup and download

However, after I have boot up HD9
and tried to link up with MyPhoneExplorer
MPE fails to connect as win_usb fails to work now

So I have to wait to see if there is other methods or explanations
for the time being I dun use MPE on HD9 ...
