Got this DVD-RW 19966
$14 for 10pieces
($2 for one piece if buy separately)

So Cheap as the first floor display hall cost even more i think
it is $2 or more per pieces

Most of all, she was kind to tell me there is DVD- and DVD+
in layman term DVD- is to be compatible with old technology (i am one of them)

Working with two WinToGo HDD

There is a fault in working with WinToGo HDD

the SSD WinToGo server may get confuse and reboot or hang by itself

Anyway, I have now two WinToGo USB 2.0 HDD

so I thought of connecting to the nettop with  WinToGo SSD

First of all, here is the experiment results for few booting up session

1. Boot with a USB WinToGo will seem always got the USB boot up
no matter how to change in the Bios

2. With two USB WinToGo, I can choose and swop to boot from either
of the USB WinToGo 2.0 HDD

3. No matter inside the Bios, I disable USB HDD boot up or devices
(also only one USB HDD will appear - I think HitaChi does appear most)

After the experiment, I removed both USB HDD
and boot into SSD HDD on windows 8.1

Then those strange phenomenon occur
the screen flip or hang
later it auto reboot few times

(Maybe the previous session, the USB HDD is running
so it still trigger the internal wintogo server to believe there is another session of
external wintogo is running)

at the end win 8 boot into repair screen

However, this time I continue to boot to Win8
(Then i plug in the USB HDD after bios session)

then boot into Windows 7
(hoping it does a disk repair by itself)

Finally go back boot into Win 8 with any USB HDD attached

So for my configurations
of using ECS nettops MotherBoard
So far that is the only way to use the external USB HDD
is to boot from just internal SSD
Then after Bios and/or Window 8 UEFI screen appear
then i connect the USB - very bad  but no choice at the moment

WinToGo seem to pickup few files from original server

it even carry forward the

virus

Re: write and copy speed simulation by Win 8.1

after one night of copy

stop at a very long name files

only option is to skip

(sad win 8 and NTFS still can not copy long file name

that file was in sharepoint and it is a jpg file)

luckily it is end of the copy process

Anyway the average speed is as below

also I can do another copy of same both hdd

with different directories

(the process start with reading of the to be copied files

with no of files and size then will transfer automatically)

the speed will vary

with just the copy process it will stabilize like speed in the above abt 16MB/s

with of course less priority to second copy process 

dun know if this is the new win 8 features

but this Unix like capability is good to have

or maybe because i am using Win 8 Enterprise (with WinToGo)

so this copy behave like a server 

definitely beat the iOS

Starting to Consolidate all the ext USB HDD

Standardize to label those disk with manufacturer name

as it is a USB 2 HDD

then i put in 3HDD

also do another copy process

then do third copy process

it slow the first copy

I can not stop the copy process

as i can not change single head cable for Toshiba

if not i can put in iomega (Single head will beep as lower power)

and test the max number this PC can handle

{later discover that nettop USB 2.0 port
are not able to give power to drive USB 3.0 singlet head
to toshiba HDD, it will keep beep}

maybe i can even connect up to as much i can have

Making A Bootable Windows To Go USB Device with Windows 8.1

Windows To Go is a feature only in Windows 8 that enhances the mobility of Windows. Like its name says, it puts the whole Windows 8 system with data onto a single USB storage device to make it as a complete mobile operating system that you can boot it up on any of Windows-ready computers, regardless of the running operating system.

In Windows 8.1, Microsoft enhances this cool feature to make it even better by enabling Windows Store access, allowing to download and install apps onto the Windows To Go drive right from the network. It truly makes Windows To Go a workable solution for mobile use.

Building a Windows To Go USB device for Windows 8.1 is also not so difficult. It’s done in the steps exactly like what we explained in Windows 8. In case you missed, let’s take look again.

Things we need

There are a few things we need to prepare before starting building Windows To Go drive.

1. A 16GB or up USB devices, either flash drive or external hard drive. The larger storage the drive has, the better. It’s also worth mentioning that the performance on an external HD is much better than on a flash drive.
2. A Windows 8.1 ISO image file. What we really need here is to access to a file named install.wimlocated in \sources folder. You can mount the 8.1 Image file in Windows 8, browse through \sources folder in Windows Explorer, and copy install.wim file to a convenient location, for example, c:\temp folder.
3. The ImageX.exe file from Windows 7 Automated Installation Kit. For your convenient, you can download from this link directly to save your time. Just right-click the link and choose Save As… to the same folder you have saved install.wim file earlier.
4. Last, you will need a PC that runs Windows.

That’s all we need. And let’s start building your very first Windows To Go drive.

3 Steps to go

Step 1: prepare the USB drive to make it bootable

Open Command Prompt Window in Admin (press Win+X and select Command Prompt (admin) on Windows 8), type diskpart, and press enter.

diskpart>list disk

diskpart>select disk n  (make sure replacing n with the number shown from the last step)

diskpart>clean

diskpart>create partition primary

diskpart>format fs=ntfs quick

diskpart>active

diskpart>assign

diskpart>exit

That’s it. You now have a device that’s ready to put Windows 8 image on.

Step 2: use ImageX to apply the image

In the same Command Prompt window that has the Admin rights, navigate to the location that stores both ImageX.exe and Install.wim files, and type the following command (Figure 1):

ImageX /apply install.wim 1 h:\

Assume that H: drive is the drive for the USB device.

This step may take at least 30 minutes to finish, depending on what kind of USB device you are using.

Step 3: apply the boot record

In the same Command Prompt window, type the following command to apply the Windows 8 boot record to the device (Figure 2):

bcdboot.exe h:\windows /s h: /f all

Again, H: drive is the drive for the USB device.

Now, reboot your computer and select Boot to USB from the boot option and complete the final setup to get your Windows To Go ready.

TWRP remember dun do Advance Wipe

For now we recommend TWRP 2.6.3.1 to flash this rom

The Stock recovery came back ! ha ha

so i have to flash TWRP instead (to RIP)

so i uninstall ROM manager

install TWRP manager

and so it failed

but when i reboot into recovery

TWRP being installed and running

and fyi MTP driver re installed...

I have done a big mistake 

is to do an advance Wipe

and clean all

including Internal memory

and external SD

So I lost everything !!

It's not my Rom , just a post with a link to show that it's possible to run this Ditto on a international GT-N7105 !

Wipe from Aroma won't wipe anything. And wipe from recovery before flashing for now wipe data is NOT recommended 
We still have to find out which Note 2 variants and recoveries can wipe data before flshing the rom and not get stuck in Samsung logo.
If you don't have 4.3 bootloader you won't have wifi unless that you flash Devil Kernel after flashing ther rom.

For now we recommend TWRP 2.6.3.1 to flash this rom
Dowload the rom DN3 v3.1.1 (LTE Edition), copy it to your phone and reboot to recovery mode and flash the zip.
It's VERY Important to select N7105 in the installation screen.
The installation should take around 2 minutes. If it takes only some seconds you might need to re-flash the rom (aroma sometimes say installation complete after less than 30 seconds installing files).
The first boot can take between 3-5 minutes, so just wait.

also it is better only use the hp when only the pass sign appear

or not when it is boot up

after pass sign 

then MTP drive will recognize FYI

but still not working well

after few reboot i got the Root SuperSU back
