Now the sequence for map and navigation is like this
open maps,
I. type in address or postal code
II. Choose navigator
III after destination, last version is show street view
IV Now after destination, navi maps appear
Location like such sensitivity
Navigator or Maps maybe not "accurate"
But the "navi maps" will re-appear and
user can continue navi in maps mode
which is fantastic !!
5. Actually point no 4. also mean that
Google map can be used continue navigate like Waze
and you can see a blue arrow of your vehicle in a static google map
(this is I refer as a navi map)
6. Google use back three mode of maps

6.b compass maps
6.c book maps with North point up
These three or few modes
you can toggle via focus and compass icon
7. Waze still got its advantage over to see
traffic police and camera
8. Waze social capability (WeChat real time location is similar)
able to provide better maps and navigation feedback
for that i hope Google can improve the feedback session
(BTW do recommended to disable
share to feedback setting option)
For the time being, I keep feedback to Google
