This year My Singtel fiber test (series 1/3)

This year My Singtel fiber test still give me

Now is to wait for friends to Change to M1 higher speed fiber
to see what speed test he will get

This is speed,  how is your Internet speed score now ?
next is most important to consider Content or VPN(to US/CN)
then will be the TV box

Actually speed is less important now to watch on fiber
as at this speed it is comfortable to watch video
but at least you can also watch offline

one of wintogo good and bad


as I was writing the blogger
suddenly PC crash
and not able to resume (although PC light still on)
and have to press hard power off

after reboot it give such message
that you can not laugh or cry


the IE browser can restore all previous session
and blogger still got all editing in tact although few last sentences missing

so "wintogo" is so clever to demo such plug and play capability sale
features automatically ... ha ha

so far
the booting on usb hdd wintogo is slower but bearable at 3min boot up time
It can be seen as a quick setup ext hdd just in case

Finally run WinToGo on WD USB HDD


(before that I use win 8 wintogo app to create the two partitions)


I used the following
AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition PAssist_Std
to create a WinToGo workspace on WD USB HDD

the NTFS partition has to be choosen
then point to win8 DVD and look for X:\sources\install.esd
(other documents show is install.wim install.xxx etc)





Bios was able to recognize the HDD

After boot form the USB 2.0 HDD
a Win 8 setup process continue
for product ID I skip

Oops!  I left out something else. . .
When the new system starts, it asks for a Product Key.  Microsoft provided a key to use.

For display driver, this time it automatically retrieve from Internet and expand to 1024 display

The rest I have to update
eg telnet client
Samsung hp, ADB MTP drivers etc

Even I change the boot sequence in Bios
the USB still always boot up first



Then I thought the USB HDD has not link to that of SSD HDD
I about to install the QQ
and realised it is pre-installed app
So only those Win 8 app are being transferred
However, you still need to run the "installed" app and login
All the previous chat session is not inside


BTW the Win App store is also preinstalled or include
unlike those document that mention, you need to re-active the store etc


(One day I may need to ask if I using wintogo app to create
so this is a real workspace that I am creating ??...)

prepare to update SamSung Note Too

almost not able use WinToGo now

I have seem to have setup WinToGo
but my nettop can not support it .. haha

MB ECS H61H2-I2 and Bios
only got 8x USB2.0

This iOmega LPHP-UP3 is a USB 3.0 drive

Anyway, using win8.1 Enterprise setup usb drive
show to have two partition
1. EFI 


2. WinToGo workspace
that about 9 GB

no drive no assign, but i use win 8 disk mgr to assign them

so have to keep them for future use
and continue to use it as just storage drive

Lenovo and EMC Team Up In Strategic Worldwide Partnership

Now after a while
i give up as

my crazy ideas

1. this nettops dun have and  support USB 3.0 (Bios can not check but MB show 8x2.0 USB only)
2. iomega drivers missing during lenovo and EMC merge

but i dun know iomega is already under Lenovo

i got a iomega usb 3.0 drive 
but can not create into win to go
as bios can not recognize the boot drive

inside win 8 it show as

but now it is all useless

I strongly dislike iphone send out photo via iMessage or SMS

It is my mistake or other iphone user ignorance
I send out request for non text information

Many iphone user reply via SMS (i think it is now iMessage)
and end up MMS in my android hp
so that "MMS" will be even be a video even thought just a photo etc

Although I heard now Singtel or other telco are charging MMS as multiple SMS

but again this is the problems Apple has created unnecessary incompatible in this world

Some iphone users may not notice but
